How To Get Involved

1. Pray

Would you join us in prayer for the city of Ballarat?

  • Prayer point: Church revival.
  • Prayer point: The five fold ministry (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastor, and Teacher) be evident and fully effective. The church needs each facet of the ministry to be functioning for it to desciple the many thousands of new belivers that will come to Christ.
  • Prayer point: That the Church would be in relationship; loving God, loving each other. The early church is a great example. It was united and through the unity, effective. They saw many salvations, healings and taught Christ in a spirit of love.
  • You can also participate in a Citywide Prayer Meeting. It's organised by a local fellowship called, Ballarat City Church. (watch this space for dates and times)

3. Visit

Come along to a sunday service or join us in listening prayer

Sunday Service. Each sunday Breakthrough Worship Centre holds two services. The first service is at 10.00am - 12.00noon and the second is at 5.30pm-7.00pm.

What's a service like? A church service is a time to encourage one another, learn about Jesus and say thank you to God as a group. How that actually looks depends on the type of person you are. For example, if you are a loud person you will probably be visibly expressive. However you might be more reserved and 'one-on-one' and that's just as good.

What to wear? Commonly people want to know how to dress for church services. The answer varies on who you are as some people like to wear a suit, others jeans. You should wear what feels comfortable.

Listening prayer. The terms listening and prayer don't sound like they can be together. However sitting quietly before God transforms us from the inside out. It is powerful.

Knowing this, each Tuesday and Thursday at 10.00am - 12noon a group of intercessors come together for the purpose of listening to God. Sometimes God gives a word or scriptures, but mostly He just loves the fact people gathered to listen to what He has to say (as opposed to bringing our needs, wants, desires before Him).
